Bill Whitbeck called the May 9, 2006 meeting of the Town of Rensselaerville Zoning Board of Appeals to order at 7 pm. Meeting was held at the Town Building.

Public hearing for variance. See separate minutes.

A motion was made by James Bashwinger and seconded by James Watkins to approve the minutes of the March 14, 2006 meetings. The result of the vote follows:

Bill Whitbeck ABSTAIN

Tax Map #137.9-3-12 setback variance resolution: Ben Neidl presented a resolution to the Board. A motion was made to grant formal approval of the resolution. The resolution was sponsored by James Bashwinger and seconded by Ken McCulloch. The result of the vote follows:

This notice is to be filed with the Town Clerk within five days.

Tax Map#135.6-1-40 side yard variance. This is for three separate variances, house, shed and boathouse. The area is zoned RC3. is representing the . The house is 25 feet off Rd. The existing building does not fit the setbacks. Mark Overbaugh said he is most concerned with the lake frontage. New construction has a setback of 150 feet from the lake. This is on a town road. A public hearing will be scheduled for Tuesday June 13, 2006 at 7pm for the variance.

Tax Map#181.-2-50.40 side yard variance: wishes to build a garage. This is on a 2.1 acre lot. He is requesting an eight foot side yard variance. A motion was made by James Bashwinger and seconded by Ken McCulloch to accept the application. The result of the vote follows:

A public hearing will be scheduled for Tuesday June 13,2006 at 7:05pm for the variance.
